I was tasked with creating a variable logo for a fictional company.
I approached it by first thinking about the type of company the logo would represent, and chose an AVL production company. In live production, even small details can have a big impact on the overall outcome, which led to the idea of the butterfly effect.
The logo takes the form of a butterfly and shifts depending on whether it represents audio,
video, or lighting, while remaining part of a consistent system.
To develop a flexible logo system that can adapt across different services while maintaining a consistent identity, and to present it in a clear, structured set of print-ready brand guidelines.
